Up for sale is this 2006 Taylor 355ce. It features:
- Sapele back/sides
- Sitka spruce top
- Jumbo 12-string body
- Ebony bridge and fretboard
- Indian rosewood headstock overlay
- Expression System pickup
- Chrome-plated Taylor tuners
- 25.5″ scale, 1 and 7/8″ nut
Here’s a great 12′er from Taylor at a sweet price. I think they make the best-playing 12-strings in the business, and at this price this 355ce is a no-brainer. The Jumbo body gives it lots of nice bass and volume, and it has just the right amount of Taylor high-end sparkle. Comes with original hardshell case.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in good condition. There are a few micro indentations on the top that I couldn’t photograph. There’s one ding on the top, pictured. The binding has a couple of chips, pictured. There’s an area of finish lifting on the side, also pictured. The corner of the headstock has a ding, pictured. Finally, there are compression dings around the tuners, probably from the nuts being over-torqued.
